September 11, 2001 (Commonly reffered to as 9/11) was the day a terrorist attack that Al Qaeda had planned was taken on America. The terrorist attacked the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and were planning to send one plane to the White House which ended up going into a field in Pennsylvania as a result of the passenger taking back the plane. 9/11 iss the biggest atatck on America since British warships attacked the 13 colonies during the Revolutionary War.

Many results of 9/11 were taken. Each day on 9/11 people remember who died trying to save people or just trying to escape.

On May 2, 2011 shortly after 1:00 PKT Osama Bid Laden, foudner of Al Qaeda, was killed by a team of Navy SEALs.

Marvel released #477 Amazing Spider-Man named "The Black Issue" as Marvel super-heroes see the stunning aftershock of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and they feel powerless to stop it. The issue was released on December 1, 2001.

ESPN released a 9/11 story called 'The Man In The Red Bandana", about a former Boston College lacrosse player whose trademark was a red bandana. The man grew up to become a firefighter and died saving others. Ling Young escaped thanks to Welles R. Crowther still has a picture of Welles in his Boston College jersey in her living room. Welles escorted people from the 78th floor to the 61st floor (where other firefighters escorted people to a working elevator) of a tower and then went back up.

All of the United States airport security became much more tighter, as an effort to keep anything like 9/11 from ever happening again.
